Meet FONO: Centretown’s New Hi-Fi Listening Lounge

The city is buzzing about a new venue in Centretown.

Opening its doors on April 10, 2026, FONO is a hi-fi lounge dedicated to intentional listening. Supped up with a state-of-the-art sound system designed by Automatic Audio, mid-century modern interiors and multipurpose ballroom, local music scene mainstay and owner Matías Muñoz is hopeful the newly revamped heritage building will accommodate all kinds of events.

Offering coffee service by day and local beers, wines and small-plate dishes by night, Muñoz invites the community to visit “Centretown’s living room” open for business at 473 Bronson Avenue.
