Nightlife Town Hall: November 19 at City Hall

Attention Ottawa nightlife workers and stakeholders!
The City of Ottawa Nightlife Office is holding its inaugural Nightlife Town Hall on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at City Hall.
The event will unfold in two parts:
5:00pm–6:30 p.m. – Networking & Tradeshow
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with various City of Ottawa departments and Nightlife Office stakeholders on programs and strategies that impact the city’s nightlife economy and ecosystem.
In a trade show–style setting in Jean-Pigott Place, participants will table to share information about their services, respond to questions and distribute materials and resources.

- Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)
- Ottawa Bylaw Services

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
6:30pm–8:00 p.m. – Panel Discussion
The evening continues in City Council Chambers with a panel discussion led by City of Ottawa Nightlife Commissioner Mathieu Grondin. The conversation will highlight initiatives supported by the Nightlife Office and their progress under the Nightlife Economy Action Plan.
Before the panel, Cultural Services will make a short presentation on the Cultural Plan engagement process.

This includes but is not limited to venue/bar owners and operators and nightlife event promoters and programmers. Accessibility
Jean-Pigott Place and Council Chambers are located on the first level of City Hall. The building and both rooms are physically accessible for persons with mobility needs and devices. Physically accessible, gender-neutral washrooms are available on-site on the first floor near the ServiceOntario Centre.
